About Us
King’s Cross Academy (KCA) was established in 2021. Our founder and teachers are from the world’s top institutes like University of Oxford, King’s College London, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, etc.
We endeavor to offer a holistic education to children by the world’s best teachers, curriculum, resources. With a firm belief that teachers and parents must work together to better a child’s future, we provide parents with videos of their child in classes.
In addition, before every child’s enrollment, we provide a personal assessment to evaluate their potentials and abilities, so that we can provide the class that suit them the best.
King’s Cross Academy (KCA)在2021年度成立。我們的創辦人及導師是來自世界知名學府：牛津大學、倫敦國王學院、香港中文大學等……
我們希望透過最頂尖的師資、課程、資源來提供一個全方面教育給每一個小孩。KCA教育的理念是家校攜手協力，共同教育孩子成為未來的社會棟樑。
在孩子入學前，我們提供一個「個人評估」，為孩子找到最適合他們的課程，因材施教，做到「求也退，故進之；由也兼人，故退之」。
The meaning behind our name, “King’s Cross”
Our founder’s fondest childhood memory was when he read Harry Potter. King’s Cross Station in London is where he catches the Hogwarts Express.
He was unsure and afraid, but at the moment when he chose to be brave and dash through a brick wall, he found his magical world.
We believe that every child has a King’s Cross Station and a platform 9 3/4 waiting for them. If they choose to be brave, they can enter this magical realm we called world, and create their own miracles.
KCA的創辦人為學院擇名時，他想起了他兒時讀「哈利波特」的回憶，King’s Cross Station（國王十大字車站）是他們乘坐「霍格華茲特快列車」前往魔法世界的地方。
當哈利波特要穿過第9站台與第10站台之間，他感到懼怕。但最後，他選擇了勇敢，昂首闊步地衝往那道磚牆，進入了九又四分之三月台，踏入魔法世界。
我們相信每個孩子心中都有一個King’s Cross Station （國王十大字車站）和九又四分之三月台。只要他們願意，鼓起勇氣，他們能走進這個魔法世界，創造屬於他們的奇蹟。
Our philosophy and Methodology
At KCA, our goal is not just to groom our students into a better scholars, but also a better individual. To do that we focus on the “Two Doors” of KCA education: individualism （西方個人主義）and community-based. （博文約禮）
Individualism: each child is a unique individual, and it is necessary for them to be independent and creative.
Community-based: while every child is a unique individual, they also need to learn in a diverse community of people, to be kind to other people and diligent.
We hope by the “Two Doors”, we can open a lot more doors for the children, not just in schools, but for a lifetime.
我們的哲學及教學法
我們秉承西方及中方的教育理念，以KCA 教育的「中西雙修」精神：西方個人主義和「博文約禮」，致力讓學生無論在學術上還是素質上都能有所完善。
個人主義：每一個孩子都是獨一無二的，我們期望學生能發揮他們的潛力，成為獨立、有創意的人。
博文約禮：盡管每個學生都是獨一無二，他們仍需要在這個多元社會上「博學於文，約之於禮」。
我們希望透過「中西雙修」的精神辦學，能與你們攜手並肩，為孩子們一起開啟更多大門。
